Japan Malta Goodwill Association, established at Kyoto, in 2020

The Japan Malta Goodwill Association was established for the purpose of friendship, goodwill and cultural exchange between Japan and the Republic of Malta.

In 2017, H.E.Prime Minister Shinzō Abe visited Malta as first prime minister of Japan. In 2018, H.E.Prime Minister Joseph Muscat visited Japan for the first time in 28 years as an incumbent, and held a summit meeting with H.E.Prime Minister Abe.
In recent years, with the government expecting to strengthen its relations with Malta, We believe that the role of the Japan-Malta Goodwill Association as a center for the collection and dissemination of Malta’s information in Japan will continue to grow. We will work to build a better relationship through various events.
